COMING SOON... 'Malt Whisky Tasting Breaks' in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Start your break with a complimentary dram of our very own Dornoch Castle Malt in our unique stone lined bar to lead you gently into dinner in our award winning Garden Restaurant.

On your first day we will visit Dalmore Distillery in Alness for a guided tour and special tasting, followed by a private tour and tasting at Glenmorangie Distillery. We will then return to Dornoch Castle for a light lunch* stop.

Afternoon: We will take a full private tour of Balblair Distillery in Edderton followed by a tasting of three of their vintages.

Evening: You will attend our ‘Highland Flavours’ dinner with guest speaker John MacDonald from Balblair Distillery.

On Day Two we will start at Clynelish Distillery where we will be taken on a tour of the distillery and the old Brora stillroom. We will finish Clynelish Distillery with a tasting in the old customs and excise room.

Afternoon: We will then make our way to Wick on the North West coast where will have a quick lunch* stop at MacKay’s Hotel in Wick. Our final distillery visit will be Old Pultney where we will have a full tour followed by a tasting with the
manager.

Evening: Your final evening sets off with another fantastic whisky themed dinner prepared by our Head Chef Mikael. Guest speaker Merlin Sandbach from Atlas and Orkney Breweries will be there and will provide a tutored tasting with fascinating facts about beer and brewing. Finish off your fantastic break with a few drams by the fire and a mighty competition prepared by Philip and Simon with a one off bottle of Old Pultney up for grabs for the winner.

Three nights and two whole days to explore the joys of whisky, fine dining and distilleries, all in the most beautiful highland scenery you could imagine! Fully accompanied by Simon or Philip, a maximum of 12 people so personal service is assured.
